MEGAN MCDOUGALL
CFO/Co-Founder
Megan McDougall is an Accounting Consultant here at
Compass Accounting. She joined the Accounting world in 2008 after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Accounting & Finance from the University of Southern Maine. Megan has always had a passion for Finance and quickly worked her way into Finance Management for her prior companies. She is a Certified Tax Preparer, a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and a member of the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and running her own Photography business.
JULIE DOWNING
Consultant
Julie is a Consultant/Bookkeeper here at Compass Accounting. She joined the Compass team after retiring from a diverse 32 year career a Registered Nurse and 42 years total in the healthcare field. Originally from Maryland, Julie graduated from the University of New England and settled down in Maine where she raised three daughters. Now her family includes five grandchildren that keep her very busy outside of work. Besides her grandchildren, Julie loves to travel, read, attend country music concerts and relax. She also loves the beach and spends her winters in Melbourne Beach, Florida.
CHRISTIE BOUGIE
Consultant
Christie is a Consultant/Bookkeeper here at Compass Accounting. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a minor focus in Accounting & Finance. She joined the Compass team in 2020 with fifteen years of experience in Accounting and Human Resources. Her passions outside of work include fitness, cooking, being outdoors and spending time with family. She currently lives in Maine with her husband and son.
